Internship

During this internship, you’ll be part of the team that ensures the kitchen staff can focus entirely on their core tasks—preparing and cooking meals. The Kitchen Management team handles all non-cooking-related responsibilities. In your supportive role, you’ll help relieve your colleagues by working on scheduling, menus, HR tasks, and more.

Daily Tasks

  • Assisting with the creation and checking of work schedules
  • Ensuring that all leave and sick forms are correctly filled out and submitted to the HR Manager or HR intern
  • Processing payroll at the beginning of each month
  • Performing administrative tasks to support the Executive Head Chef (e.g., answering phone calls in their absence, scheduling appointments, scanning, printing, and organizing documents)
  • Helping with kitchen stock orders and maintaining communication with suppliers
  • Assisting in organizing special events at the hotel
  • Forwarding documents to the HR Manager
  • Ensuring kitchen staff are aware of HACCP guidelines, prioritize them, and follow them properly
  • Ensuring all control procedures are in place for accurate documentation and effective waste management
  • Assisting the Executive Head Chef in creating menus
  • Ensuring effective communication channels so that all team members are aware of goals and their role in achieving them
  • Assisting the Executive Head Chef with all HR-related tasks such as recruitment, interviews, scheduling, leave, dress code and grooming, and other administrative duties
