What did you think of the city and your internship?
I really liked the city! My internship was also cool. I found out that I’m not a big fan of an office job, so it took some time to get used to. But I loved going to performances and meeting artists there.
What was the most special experience you had?
That’s a really tough question! Since I had imagined everything exactly as I had always seen it on TV, it wasn’t a huge surprise or culture shock—everything was just like on television. But of course, it’s still New York, and just the idea of being there made everything special. One of the highlights for me was waking up to the amazing view from the rooftop of my apartment!
Do you have any tips for students?
Make sure to research what your internship tasks will be. I got super excited about the word "music" in "music label," which made me focus only on that. I didn’t really pay attention to all the other tasks involved! So, check if everything matches your expectations, and then it should be all good.
