What did you think of the city?

Buenos Aires is a very beautiful city with extremely friendly people. However, you should know that Buenos Aires doesn’t have a sea—only a river, and I wouldn’t recommend swimming in it. There are buses though that go to other cities by the sea, like Mar Del Plata.

What do you think of the internship?

I’m really enjoying my internship. They welcomed me warmly, and I felt at home right away. They trust you to do your work well.

What was the most special experience you had?

The most special experience I had here was Carnaval. At first, I wanted to go to Rio de Janeiro, but it’s insanely expensive during Carnaval. So I decided to go to Gualeguaychú with a few people I met here. It’s a 3.5-hour bus ride from Buenos Aires and costs about €17. I’m actually going again this weekend—it was that good.

Do you have any tips for students?

If you’re going from the airport to Buenos Aires, exchange as little money as possible because you get a much better exchange rate in the city center. If you haven’t arranged transport from the airport, it’s best to book a taxi at the "Helpdesk."

What rating would you give your experience?

For me, Buenos Aires gets a 7 — I thought I’d be able to do a lot more with my euros in Argentina.
