Hi Helen! What kind of internship are you doing?

In London, I’m interning at a PR agency that represents 17 brands, including Vans, 55DSL, Burton, Palladium, Volcom, Suprembeing, Fila, Maui Jim, and Wize & Opi. My company handles the public relations (PR) for these brands. During my five-month internship, they try to show me as much as possible.

How do you like the internship?

My internship is really fun and, most importantly, very educational. Different habits, a different language, but you learn so much more during these months. I’m interning here for five months, and I can already see that I’m getting more and more responsibilities, which is really exciting!

What do you think of the city?

London is truly an amazing city—there’s so much to do here! The great thing about London is that it’s not far from the Netherlands, so I get a lot of visits from friends. It’s an English-speaking country, and last but not least: the shopping and nightlife here are fantastic!

What is the most special experience you’ve had?

Last week was The Royal Wedding. It was incredible to experience the atmosphere surrounding it! Besides that, I’ve had some amazing nights out and seen so much of the city!

Do you have any tips for students?

If you have the opportunity to go abroad, absolutely go for it!

What rating would you give your experience?

Already an 8.5, and my internship isn’t even over yet!
