The Other Network (TON) is looking for an enthusiastic, eager-to-learn, and independent event assistant intern. In addition, The Other Network organizes networking events, exclusive dinners, and the prestigious “The Other Businessman” awards — where the best multicultural entrepreneur and best multicultural manager of the year are honored.
Internship
As an event assistant intern, you will be part of a small and dedicated team. You will be jointly responsible for the success of TON. Your responsibilities will include the (online) promotion and administration of various events. You will also handle different types of correspondence and maintain contact with our members and partners.
You will work from The Other Network’s office in Amstelveen, where you’ll be part of a diverse, young, and enthusiastic team.
Daily Tasks
- Managing social media
- Maintaining the website: writing content and uploading photo and video material
- Coordinating/hosting networking events
- Managing correspondence such as newsletters and invitations
- Organizing event promotion
- Updating the member database, registrations, and all related administration
- Maintaining external contacts such as suppliers, performers, and speakers
- Handling invoices
