To properly prepare for your internship in Greece, it's helpful to know what kind of monthly expenses to expect. Below is an indicative overview of typical costs. Exact amounts may vary depending on the city you're staying in (such as Athens or Thessaloniki) and your lifestyle.

 

  • Housing: €400 – €800
    This depends on the city and type of accommodation (shared apartment, student housing, or private studio). Athens tends to be slightly more expensive than smaller cities.
  • Living expenses (groceries, dining out): €200 – €400
    Greece is known for its affordable groceries and inexpensive restaurants, especially outside tourist areas.
