  • Housing: $700 – $1,500
Depending on the city and type of accommodation (shared apartment, student room, or studio). Copenhagen tends to be more expensive than other cities like Aarhus or Odense.
  • Living expenses (groceries, dining out): $300 – $600
This depends on how often you cook for yourself or eat out. Groceries are reasonably priced, but dining out can be quite expensive, especially in larger cities.
  • Transportation (public transport, bike, etc.): $50 – $150
Public transportation is well-developed in Denmark, especially in Copenhagen, where buses, trains, and the metro are commonly used. Many people also opt for cycling, as Denmark is very bike-friendly. Monthly transport passes are available at reasonable prices.
  • Phone and internet: $30 – $80
For a local subscription or SIM card with data. Internet services are widely available and reliable.
