  • Housing: $300 – $800
    Depending on the city and type of accommodation (shared apartment, student room, or studio). Major cities like Beijing, Shanghai, or Shenzhen tend to be more expensive, while smaller cities offer more affordable options.
  • Living expenses (groceries, dining out): $150 – $400
    This depends on how often you cook for yourself or eat out. Groceries are generally inexpensive, and dining out can be very affordable, especially in local restaurants or street food stalls.
  • Transportation (public transport, bike, etc.): $30 – $100
