You must have heard about the concept of Work and Travel. You know, when people go abroad and during their travels they gain some work experience and some money? It’s a great experience and lots of young people do it. This company is the one that makes the dream to Work and Travel come true for a lot (a lot!) of adventurers going to Australia and New Zealand. They do this by offering their members a platform where you can look for available jobs to do. What a great initiative!

Internship

That’s where you come in. As an all-round intern you are ready to help with reception duties, sales, human resources, social media and more. The more-part also includes taking part in social events in and around Auckland. That’s just awesome.

Profile Student

This company is looking for an intern that effortlessly types up perfect English emails, that shines bright when giving a presentation, and that just wants to help people make their travel dreams come true. You will be part of a great international team of consultants where you will feel right at home. Are you ready to make it happen for all the explorers out there?

Daily tasks

  • Reception Duties: Handling and transferring incoming calls, processing emails, updating reception records, greeting and welcoming visitors, providing information and assistance, maintaining the computerised database, and more.
  • Sales: Selling various professional short courses, memberships, local support memberships.
  • Human Resources: Selecting and posting jobs on the computerised job database, promoting job support services, providing basic job search information to members.
  • Customer Service: Providing technical and moral support to members (e.g. helping them find accommodation and settling down in New Zealand)
  • Office Support: Providing general support to other team members and the management.
  • Scenic Tours and Social Events: Taking part in social events in and around Auckland.
  • Social Media: Ongoing updating of social media channels.

You are

  • Excellent at communicating (in English)
  • Confident in conducting presentations
  • Someone with a friendly and positive attitude, and a passion for customer service
